Stand up For Jesus - What Price the Word of God?
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Let us pray
O Jesus I Surrender myself to You, You take over. Amen
We make no apology for stating it is time to -
Stand up for Jesus.
With the best will in the world Fratelli Tutti contains doctrinal error or is setting out forthcoming doctrinal changes in the Catholic Church. We must uphold the truth. The truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
It is time for all of us to to stand up for Jesus
What Price the Word of God?
This is the most difficult blog I have ever had to write on this the feast of St John Paul II. So It will be brief and I will get straight to the point.
I had little sleep last night having heard what Pope Francis said on same sex relationships. The timing surprised me the content did not. It is (well) known about the homosexual tendencies within the Vatican and in particular the Cardinals.
The word of God is clear. Additionally in Marys apparitions she warned that the attack would come on family life. Sadly this is what is happening. Whether it is an unmarried couple living together, a divorced couple living together or a same sex couple living together is their choice. i have always seen my responsibility to ensure they knew the word of God. It is wrong and outside the Commandment and the Word of God.
In this and in all of Francis's statements recently including Fratelli Tutti this is what in my opinion is missing.
All we as faithful Catholics can do is pray. attend Holy Mass, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and say the Rosary every day. We trust in Jesus, abandon ourselves to Him, let Him take over.
Today we celebrate
Thursday of week 29 in Ordinary Time
or Saint John Paul II, Pope
In Rome on 2 April 2005, the eve of the Second Sunday of Easter (or of Divine Mercy), he departed peacefully in the Lord. He was canonized by Pope Francis on 27 April, the Second Sunday of Easter 2014.
The Word of God
Luke 12:49-53 - How I wish it were blazing already!
Jesus said to his disciples: ‘I have come to bring fire to the earth, and how I wish it were blazing already! There is a baptism I must still receive, and how great is my distress till it is over!
‘Do you suppose that I am here to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division. For from now on a household of five will be divided: three against two and two against three; the father divided against the son, son against father, mother against daughter, daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law, daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.’
Lord, this day,
send Your mercy and Your truth
to rescue us from the snares of the devil,
and so with Your strength and grace
we will praise You among the peoples
and proclaim You to the nations,
happy to be known as companions of Your Son.
St. Faustina Kowalska,
I promise that the soul that will venerate this image will not perish. I also promise victory over [its] enemies already here on earth, especially at the hour of death. I Myself will defend it as My own glory.
The Word of The Lord - From the Letters of St Paul
Ephesians 3:14-21 - A prayer that faithful may know the love of Christ
This is what I pray, kneeling before the Father, from whom every family, whether spiritual or natural, takes its name:
Out of his infinite glory, may he give you the power through his Spirit for your hidden self to grow strong, so that Christ may live in your hearts through faith, and then, planted in love and built on love, you will with all the saints have strength to grasp the breadth and the length, the height and the depth; until, knowing the love of Christ, which is beyond all knowledge, you are filled with the utter fullness of God.
Glory be to him whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine; glory be to him from generation to generation in the Church and in Christ Jesus for ever and ever. Amen.
Each day I pray that the Lord will bless you and keep you.
May He show His face to you and have mercy.
May He turn His countenance to you and give you peace.
The Lord bless you!
Always remember - Jesus loves you.
